White Cross offering taken 11.18.2018 to support our denominations hospital in Pakistan.

Advent devotions are located at sanctuary exits.

Ringing of the Bell for Salvation Army at the Statesville Kmart. Dec. 15, 10am-7pm. Volunteer sign up in the vestibule.

The Angel Tree is up! Presents delivered Dec. 23rd. All items need to be at the church no later than 2pm on Dec. 22nd.

Dec 2 – Ordination and/or installation of officers, Dec 9 – Annual Congregational Meeting, Elect congregational officers, Volunteer for committees, Present 2019 budget, Other business from the floor

Food pounding for Angel House - Boxes in the vestibule, Linderman Hall, and Fellowship Hall. Last date to bring will be Nov 17th as that will be the date the items will be delivered. Questions call Linda Pope.

Women’s Christmas Supper – You are invited to a Christmas celebration hosted December 6 at 630pm. We will have great food, Bible lesson, fellowship, Christmas celebration and review of what Women’s Ministries offers in 2019. Please join us. All you need to do is bring a soup/salad or desert to share.

All congregation members 5th grade to adult please come and help with Hanging of the Greens on 12/1/2018 at 930am. If you are interested in decorating our church for Christmas. All hours spent helping can be counted as community hours for our members who are accumulating them for school.

Calling all New Sterling Bakers!!

 

 It's time to have some fun baking together and raising money for Power Cross!  The funds raised will be used to ensure all of the Power Cross boys have Christmas gifts and food. All recipes and ingredients will be supplied.

 We will be baking "Pies for Presents" on Monday, November 19th starting at 9:00 a.m. and going through the evening.  If you can spare a few hours during this day, please pick the time that suits you best and come join in the pie-making!  If you would like to place an order, there will be order forms in the foyer.  Pies will be delivered to the fellowship hall on Tuesday, November 20th.  If you have any questions, please see Cindy McNeely.  Thank you in advance for your care and participation!

SUNDAY, DEC 9TH, WE WILL COLLECT SHOEBOXES FOR OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD.

A group of New Sterling Volunteers will go to Charlotte to pack boxes Friday, December, 14. We will meet at the church at 4:45. We will stop in troutman  to eat, so bring some money. Due to insurance requirements, you must be 13 years old or older to participate. Notify Leann Hartness to reserve your spot.
